Multi Effect

The Multi Effect can be inserted in the Modular Routing area, or as an Insert or Send effect on a Mixer channel. Each instance of the Multi Effect can contain any combination of the following effects:

  • Reverb
  • Delay
  • Guitar Amp (technology by Overloud)
  • Chorus
  • Phaser
  • Bit Crusher
  • Filter
  • Compressor

Presets

Presets are saved as .xte files. From the Presets section of the Browser, you can drag & drop a preset to the Modular area, or to an Inserts or Sends bin in the mixer. This creates a new Multi Effect component with the preset loaded.

Toolbar

VU Meter

A small stereo VU meter showing the output level from the Multi Effect.

Program Selector

Add, Delete, Open, Save, or Rename programs from the menu. Switch between open programs with the dropdown menu or arrows.

Add effect button

Displays a menu of available effects to add to the end of the chain. Added effects start off bypassed, so you can change their settings before activating them.

Arranging effects

The signal passes through the effects from top to bottom. Each effect has a Power button. When off, the effect is bypassed. To change the order of effects, you can right-click on one and move it up in the chain. To remove an effect, right-click it and select Delete.
